Ernest drowned in the Merrimack River in Lowell, Massachusetts on the afternoon of Saturday, September 21st. He and two other boys died when the rowboat they were playing in off shore snapped it's mooring, drifted out into the river and then overturned. Ernest's grave is in Lot 318. I have yet to find the other boys, but I will.
